Jed's Other Poem

An unsolicited, then approved, music video for the band Grandaddy and their song of the same name off of the album The Sophtware Slump.
Applesoft II was first made available in 1978 and was largely based on Microsoft's 1976 floating point BASIC.
Grandaddy formed in 1992 and released their first record, Prepare to Bawl, that same year.
Programmed in Applesoft II on a 1979 Apple ][+ with 48K of RAM. Seriously.
Jeddy-3 the humanoid was assembled in the kitchen out of spare parts. Before Jed's system died he wrote poems. Poems for no one.

Grandaddy made their breakup official on 27 January 2006, prior to the release of their final record Just Like The Fambly Cat.   : (
I signed a contract with V2 Records retroactively hiring me for this music video and avoiding a lawsuit. This is now the *official* music video for Jed's Other Poem.
